Banda sonora for the weekend…

Soundtrack for the weekend Siddhartha – Náufrago: So if while you’re listen to this jam, you’re thinking, “sounds a bit like Zoé.” Well… it’s no coincidence. Siddhartha was once the drummer of said band and has been exploring his own project for quite some time. It’s mellow and rocking at the same time. A clear embodiment of what we feel this movement of “Indie Rock in Spanish” entails.

The Dragulas – Illy Godzilla (El Rey Titrón): is a small tribute to Mexico’s self proclaimed “Rey del Glam”, Illy Bleeding. Love the 80’s style synths and the throwback video. RooooCK!

Sarazino – Es mi momento: With his forthcoming release, Sarazino, joins the shortlist of badass, world-fusion artists the likes of Sergent Garcia and Manu Chao. It will be released on Cumbancha on May 22 and he will be performing at the Mint in Los Angles TODAY! A must see if you’re into world beat fusion!
